The Pitt St Focus Group is a ginger group who like to keep the rest of the congregation on their toes.
Every few months they arrange a guest speaker, often on a social issue of the day, and get church and community members to gather and respond.
Last year they have arranged a meeting with a Salvation Army leader to discuss poverty and what the political parties are doing about it.
